Job description

The Production Inventory Coordinator will maintain current inventory levels and receive new inventory while optimizing inventory for business efficiency. The position requires knowledge of purchasing and inventory control while maintaining an energetic work ethic and demonstrating the ability to adapt to changing priorities. This position is required to follow detailed work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to perform daily tasks within the Production Maintenance Team. This position will work closely with others in a team atmosphere on various projects as assigned. Daily duties will include but are not limited to entering purchase orders and searching for original equipment manufacturer (OEM's) and independent parts sources for certified and traceable products at the best price. 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Purchasing/Invoice Administration
Review purchase orders to ensure accurate delivery of goods.
Address shipping, receiving, payment issues with outside vendors accordingly.
Request quotes from vendors.
Issue purchase orders main and alternative vendors when necessary to acquire parts.
Review, record, and submit invoices to ensure accurate receipt of and payment for goods.
Inventory Management
Maintain the accuracy of the inventory management system through our current CMMS system.
Receive and distribute inbound deliveries accordingly.
Assist in assuring that all items are properly checked out of the stockroom and recorded as necessary.
Prepare and participate in physical inventory.
Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly environment in the stockroom.
Administrative Record Keeping
Maintain and adhere to the current budget. Collaborate with finance and leadership to prepare future budgets.
Serve as a point of contact to answer internal questions and/or concerns in reference to parts/stockroom.
Manage Excel reports to maintain accurate data.
Prepare and distribute department information to leadership as needed.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
