Kellyยฎ Professional & Industrial is hiring a Warehouse Inventory Associate for a premier precision optics manufacturer in West Henrietta, NY. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for candidates with warehouse or inventory experience who enjoy staying organized, working with technology, and supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This position focuses on inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, and material movement within a manufacturing environment. It is not a heavy forklift operation role.
What You'll Do
  • Pick, verify, package, and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and inventory.
  • Scan, label, and track materials using inventory and ERP systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory transactions.
  • Assemble production kits and issue materials to manufacturing.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Organize inventory using first-in, first-out (FIFO) practices.
  • Operate automated storage equipment (Kardex) after training.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
  • Work closely with manufacturing and other departments to support daily production needs.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent warehouse experience preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, stockroom, or material handling experience required.
  • Experience with inventory control and order fulfillment preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems (JD Edwards experience is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
  • Good math, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and push or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and meet requirements to work in a regulated manufacturing environment.
