To thrive as an Inventory Control Specialist, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of inventory management practices, often supported by a high school diploma or relevant certification. Familiarity with inventory management software (like SAP or Oracle), barcode systems, and Microsoft Excel is typically required. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for identifying issues early and maintaining a smooth workflow.
