The Role

This role focuses on preparing high-quality, consistent meals in bulk according to set recipes and portioning standards. The grab and go meals produced in our kitchen require attention to detail and self-motivation in order to keep up with the high demand. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well with others, and has a passion for delivering nutritious, great-tasting food.

What Youll Do

  • Prepare, cook, and portion meals according to standardized recipes and daily production lists
  • Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all batches
  • Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and allergen-handling procedures
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, slicers, vacuum sealers, etc.)
  • Weigh, measure, and label ingredients for accurate inventory control.
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food stock
  • Clean and sanitize workstations, tools, and storage areas at the end of each shift
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet daily and weekly production goals

What Youll Need

  • Prior experience in a commercial kitchen, catering, or meal prep environment preferred
  • A valid Utah Food Handlers Permit is required.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and handling standards (ServSafe certification a plus)
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently with large batch production
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team


About the Opportunity

  • This is a full-time position
  • This position is on-site, requiring all hours to be performed in the kitchen in Midway and/or Kamas, Utah
  • Kitchen hours are from 8:30am to 6:30pm, Tuesday through Saturday, with individual schedules determined by the Sous Chef.
