Position Summary


The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels within the distribution center/warehouse. This role ensures the integrity of inventory records through cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits, and works closely with warehouse operations, purchasing, and management to support efficient material flow and order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities


 (Please note: This job will focus on cycle counting, audits, and reconciliations rather than traditional inventory ordering.) 


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages, overages, and potential issues to management.
  • Support receiving, stocking, and shipping activities as needed to ensure inventory is properly tracked.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and preparation for annual audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to strengthen inventory control and accuracy.
  • Provide reporting and data analysis on inventory metrics as requested.
  • The hours for this shift are from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
