Job description

A Day in the Life:
In the position of Inventory Control Coordinator, you will accurately process, input, and maintain control of all inventory material activity at remote plants and warehouses.
The Impact You'll Make:
  • Identify and research inventory discrepancies and correct errors in the SAP system in real time. Assist and collaborate with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Customer Service, and Billing Departments with inventory related issues.
  • Resolve inventory issues and make corrections in a timely manner.
  • Ensure remote plants report accurate counts at month-end.
  • Study receipts, sale order shipments, and postings to endure seamless and accurate flow of product.
  • Consistently provide timely and accurate inventory information and counts to the Inventory Control Lead as needed.
  • Assist Inventory Control Lead with reconciliation of inventory discrepancies at month and quarter end.
  • Participate in random cycle counts, physical audits, and perform full physical counts if needed. Travel will be as needed.
  • Prepare and communicate inventory status, exceptions, aging items, and reconciliation updates to leadership and cross-functional partners to support operational decision-making.
  • Follow inventory control policies, audit requirements, and compliance procedures to ensure proper documentation, approval, and evidence retention for inventory transactions.
  • Performs other inventory related duties as required.
Who You Are:
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Business Administration or related field of study, or combination of work experience
  • Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory related field
  • Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in basic accounting
  • Computer Skills Desired: Proficient skill and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP Material Management Module
  • Able to travel to conduct physical counts when needed.
