Job description

We supercharge electrical wire harness manufacturing through software configuration, transforming skilled assembly tasks into high-throughput production lines. We enable customers to design what they want, when they want it and deliver harness builds at record-breaking speed.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, this role will have ownership of both Cypress and Redondo beach inventory management function which includes, the shipping and receiving, inventory storage and kitting.

This role requires a strong independent ownership of their department including development of operating procedures, work flows, team hiring and development. You'll be required to make quick judgements, be able to adapt to frequent changes and rapid growth.

What you'll own:

As the Inventory Management Supervisor, you will lead the materials management function, defining core processes and establishing best practices to support our rapid multi-site expansion, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Process Development: Design, document, and implement SOPs for end-to-end warehouse workflows. You will partner with Manufacturing Engineering and our software team to continuous improve our MES workflow
  • Receiving & Put Away: Own the inbound material flow. You will oversee all received materials for conformity, check for damage, and ensure invenotry accuracy in part receipt and inventory location management.
  • Kitting Operations: Lead the picking and kitting function, ensuring all parts are available and accounted for to meet production schedules.
  • Pack & Ship: Oversee the outbound process, manage daily packaging and shipping operations for on-time delivery to customers.
  • Multi-Site Management: Standardize inventory integrity and storage strategies across our expanding footprint, maintaining rigorous cycle counts and data accuracy at every location. Oversee cross site inventory transfers and develop a shared inventory management system.
  • Performance Leadership: Track and report key metrics including average time-to-kit, packing/shipping accuracy %, and weekly volume. Mentor the team for growth, focusing on their career development and performance.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Experience: 2–5+ years in a materials management or warehouse supervisor role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment (aerospace or defense preferred).
  • Systems Expertise: Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and experience using software to drive operational efficiency.
  • Ability to move between hands-on execution and high-level system thinking as we scale.
  • Focus on inventory accuracy and process discipline through action driven KPIs
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a production environment.

Compensation:  

  • Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.  
  • Salary Range: $85,000-$125,000
  • This is an onsite role at our factory in Cypress, CA.
