Title: Enterprise Endpoint Engineer (Intune Experience)
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46241 (Onsite)
Pay Range: $50/hr - $57/hr (Only local candidates, no relocation)

Must have - Intune experience

About the Role

  • This is not a traditional, siloed service desk role. We are actively seeking a candidate who is well-versed in troubleshooting and resolving issues within Ms Intune-managed environments, while also operating effectively across desktop support, endpoint management, security compliance, and network-related challenges. You will be expected to move fluidly across technical domains.

  • This means owning problems end-to-end rather than handing them off while balancing user experience, security requirements, and operational efficiency. This role is in support of a secure and enterprise-scale environment with federally regulated compliance requirements.

  • Enterprise Desktop Administration

  • Build, image, configure, deploy, and maintain Windows workstations and peripherals using gold images and templates

  • Administer Active Directory-sourced user and computer objects and provide continuous compliance oversight using Group Policy controls

  • Procure, track, and keep up-to-date software products and associated licensing

  • Design, implement, and maintain MS Intune endpoint management solutions.

  • Procure and issue desktops with Intune Autopilot zero-touch provisioning

  • Build automation using PowerShell and MS Graph where appropriate

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Intune-related issues, including device configuration, policy application, compliance failures, and software deployment

  • Identify, prioritize, and remediate endpoint vulnerabilities using enterprise management and security tools

  • Navigate and resolve security and compliance-related challenges, including endpoint hardening, policy enforcement, and audit readiness

  • End User Support

  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff while maintaining a high level of customer service

  • Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, peripherals, printers, conferencing equipment, and endpoint hardware

  • Diagnose and address network connectivity issues (e.g., access restrictions, firewall rules, DNS, VPN, IP/Port/URL filtering)

  • Demonstrate the flexibility to contribute across endpoint engineering, user support, compliance, and operational initiatives as business priorities evolve

  • Continuously improve endpoint management processes through automation, standardization, and operational excellence

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in information systems or relevant field and 5+ years practical experience in the field

  • Ability to obtain public trust clearance.

  • Ability to self-manage work tasks using M365-based tools

  • Demonstrated and proven ability to independently resolve issues, improve day-to-day operations with self-driven initiatives, and operate with a growth mindset

  • Hands-on experience administering or operating network access controls in the form of IP: Port or URL-based filters

  • Practical experience managing enterprise desktops within an MS Intune managed environment

  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and administering Windows operating systems in an enterprise environment ideally including peripheral device management, asset management, and VOIP operations

  • Understanding and practical exposure to regulatory controls, baselines, and security policies within an Azure Entra and Intune-based environment with enterprise desktops and endpoints (CIS benchmarks, STIG, etc)

  • Located near Indianapolis, IN, and is both willing and capable of being on-site daily in support of the mission
