Department and Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Department, as a part of the HR Department, is uniquely positioned to make an impact on the future of Daifuku Intralogistics for years to come. We source for talent in many areas including Manufacturing/Shop, Technical and Residential Support, Field Service, Engineering, Corporate Services, and more. Additionally, we create University and Community Partnerships in our attempts to both experienced and entry level positions in many areas of the company.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist conducts full life-cycle internal/external recruiting to fill staff openings by utilizing creative sourcing methods, screening, and recommending placement. Develops and proposes monthly, quarterly and annual hiring plan in close partnership with Management. They may provide back up support to the HRBP Team.

Responsibilities
  • Follows appropriate corporate recruiting practices for exempt and non-exempt openings, including drafting effective job postings, working with temporary staffing services, screening resumes, interviewing candidates by phone or in person, administering assessments, initiating reference and background checks, recommend appropriate employment actions, and delivering and negotiating employment offers
  • Partners with hiring managers and staffing agencies to maintain accurate headcount and determine staffing needs
  • Manages the internal transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with hiring manager, and transfer offer letters
  • Presents employment offers, including information on compensation, benefits, and non-competition agreements
  • Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations, including Affirmative Action plan compliance
  • Retains recruitment documentation according to company policy
  • Partners with team weekly to update and deliver weekly and monthly recruitment reports to management as requested
  • Maintains, qualifies and builds partnerships internally and with colleges, community organizations, trade schools, military/veteran groups, and peer companies to build a talented, diverse talent pipeline
  • Identifies and develops process changes, as needed, across all areas of recruitment
  • Provides back up HR support as required
  • Travels locally and regionally between 5-10%

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of combined Talent Acquisition and recruiting experience
  • Proficient experience with iCIMS or other Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Proficient sourcing capability with multiple sourcing methods and tools
  • Proficient Hiring Manager and Candidate relationship management skills
  • Proficient knowledge with processes around a Full-Cycle Recruitment process, including but not limited to: Sourcing, Interviewing, Candidate Evaluation, Negotiating, inboarding, and Onboarding.
  • Has a Candidate first approach
  • Creative problem solving and willingness to learn new process, techniques, and technologies
  • Strong Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Beginner knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other spreadsheet software
  • Proficient knowledge of corporate recruiting best practices
  • Proficient skills related to Priority Management in order to work independently and to make sound decisions and recommendations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
