Special Education Teacher (4 Openings) | Gloucester County Public Schools

Location: Gloucester, VA
Recruiting From: Williamsburg, VA | Seaford, VA | Newport News, VA
Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 Hours/Week
School Year: August – June (NSY)

1 Self-Contained Special Education Teacher
Grades K-2
3 Inclusion Special Education Teachers
2 Elementary School Positions
1 Middle School Position
Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and school staff
Monitor student progress and maintain compliance with special education requirements
Provide instructional support and accommodations to meet student needs
Participate in IEP meetings and related documentation
Qualifications
Active Virginia Special Education Certification required
Previous experience working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred
