Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Interventional Radiology 

Location: Arlington, VA

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $123,260 - $234,145 annually (DOE)*

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Interventional Radiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a collaborative Interventional Radiology team in Arlington, VA.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and technologists while caring for both inpatient and outpatient populations. You'll play a vital role in patient evaluation, procedural management, follow-up care, and coordination of treatment for minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and medical histories
  • Evaluate patients for Interventional Radiology procedures
  • Manage inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up visits
  • Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care
  • Review laboratory and diagnostic results
  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery
  • Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams
  • Document patient encounters in the EMR
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Board Certified as AGACNP, FNP, or ANP
  • Active or eligible Virginia NP license
  • DEA certification or eligibility
  • Experience in Interventional Radiology, Critical Care, Vascular Surgery, General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, or related specialty preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
