What Do Radiologists Do?

Radiologists are physicians utilize imaging techniques to diagnose and treat patients. These techniques include X-rays, computed tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine, fusion imaging, and ultrasound. These skills are vital for providing precise diagnoses, guiding clinical decisions, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

How does a radiologist typically collaborate with other healthcare professionals during patient care?

Radiologists play a crucial role in multidisciplinary healthcare teams by interpreting medical images and providing diagnostic insights to referring physicians.
