Role Summary

The Intersect Group is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join a client focused team in Greenville, South Carolina. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building strong relationships, driving customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for account growth.

The Account Manager will play a critical role in client retention, revenue expansion, and service coordination. This position combines relationship management, consultative sales, strategic account planning, and cross functional collaboration to ensure clients achieve their business objectives while maximizing the value of the services provided.

Location & Schedule

• Onsite in Greenville, SC

• Monday through Friday

• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts and maintain strong ongoing relationships

• Conduct regular business reviews and strategic account discussions with key stakeholders

• Identify upsell and cross sell opportunities that align with client goals and business needs

• Present quotes, proposals, Statements of Work, and service recommendations

• Manage client renewals and retention efforts while proactively reducing churn risk

• Monitor account health, customer satisfaction metrics, and revenue performance

• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve service issues, billing inquiries, and escalations

• Deliver Quarterly Business Reviews that highlight performance, opportunities, and strategic initiatives

• Develop account plans and growth strategies that support long term client success

• Maintain accurate account documentation, approvals, compliance records, and customer information

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in account management, client success, business development, or customer relationship management, preferably within the IT services industry

• Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field

• Proven track record of managing client relationships, driving account growth, and achieving revenue targets

• Experience conducting business reviews, renewal discussions, and strategic account planning

• Ability to identify upsell and cross sell opportunities and manage a sales pipeline effectively

• Familiarity with IT service management concepts including SLAs, ticketing systems, escalation processes, and service delivery models

• General understanding of networking, server infrastructure, software licensing, hardware lifecycle management, and cybersecurity best practices

• Knowledge of Microsoft licensing and cloud related technologies preferred

• Basic understanding of ITIL principles and service management best practices

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with executive stakeholders

• Ability to work independently while collaborating successfully across multiple departments

• Skilled in conflict resolution, client advocacy, and risk mitigation

Preferred Certifications

• ITIL Foundation Certification

• Microsoft Fundamentals Certification such as MS 900

• Relevant certifications in account management, client success, or sales
