Imagine a career that not only enhances the voices of individuals but also resonates with your sense of purpose. As an esteemed Speech Language Pathologist in the captivating region of North Carolina, your role transcends addressing communication and swallowing challenges. This position offers an extraordinary chance to cater to a diverse array of individuals throughout various stages of life. Description
  • Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing standardized assessments and observational methodologies.
  • Craft personalized treatment plans that encompass short and long-term goals tailored to individual communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
  • Deliver focused, one-on-one speech therapy interventions that encompass voice, fluency, language, and swallowing.
  • Cooperate with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
  • Provide families and patients with educational resources to bolster their progress outside of clinical appointments.
  • Assist with occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions in speech therapy, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with all state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Engage in ongoing education and collaboration with peers to stay abreast of advancements in the field.

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within 30 days of starting.
Skills
  • Expertise in employing evidence-based treatment methods across all age groups, with a robust understanding of developmental and acquired disorders affecting speech, language, and swallowing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Adaptability in therapy approaches tailored to meet varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Strong clinical judgment and adept problem-solving skills.
  • Competence with electronic medical records and adherence to documentation requirements.
Benefits
  • Attractive compensation reflective of experience.
  • Flexible scheduling to promote work-life harmony and manage diverse caseloads.
  • Potential to specialize in pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
  • Paid time off (PTO) and holiday remuneration.
  • Choice of medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
  • Support for continuing education and career development.
  • A collegial environment emphasizing quality patient care and lifelong learning.

A Career That Inspires You - and Inspires Others
In this vital role, you'll be more than just a provider of speech therapy; you'll be an integral part of a mission-driven community, dedicated to restoring voices, facilitating communication, and creating moments of joy through genuine human interactions.
You will be collaborating with caring professionals who share a family-like spirit, within a workspace that prioritizes collective effort over competition. Each patient has a unique story; your skills will be instrumental in helping them articulate their narratives.
Why You Will Flourish Living and Working Here
The lifestyle in this enchanting part of North Carolina merges innovative spirit with charming hospitality. Set against the backdrop of picturesque countryside and vibrant artisan communities, this area offers a perfect blend of nature, culture, and potential.
Families often gather in parkland for music festivals and weekend picnics, while those who love the outdoors can explore hiking trails, paddle serene lakes, or enjoy visits to local breweries and farmers' markets. Food enthusiasts will delight in discovering delightful culinary offerings, from cozy cafรฉs to award-winning dining establishments showcasing local ingredients.
The vibrancy of the local arts scene is palpable through stunning murals, live music venues, and community festivals that unite diverse groups. Plus, the generous benefits extend beyond the appeal of the locale - with no state income tax and a reasonable cost of living, the thriving healthcare sector makes it an ideal area for career advancement and stability.
If you are either embarking on your professional journey or looking to expand your horizons as a seasoned clinician, this is a place where you can cultivate your passions and excel both personally and professionally.
Who We Want to Join Our Team
We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist whose drive is fueled by compassion toward their work. Someone who notices a withdrawn child and imagines a future filled with self-expression, who listens to the fragmented voice of a stroke survivor and recognizes unwavering determination.
You may be a pediatric expert wanting to broaden your experience into adult services - or a neuro-focused therapist eager to weave early intervention methods into practice.
Whatever your specialty, if you're passionate about aiding others and leading with empathy and skill, we invite you to become a part of our committed team.
Lets Craft Meaningful Connections - Together
If you believe every word counts and that therapy can help build trust and camaraderie, if you understand that laughter enhances language and human connection is key, this opportunity could be the transformative chapter you seek in your career.
Join us in a community that celebrates the beauty of communication and connection, where courage and understanding have the power to create change. Apply now and help others discover their voices as you forge your own story within our vibrant team.
