Job Summary:
Zynga is a global leader in interactive entertainment, known for its diverse game portfolio. They are seeking a Director of Product to lead the development of social gaming experiences, manage product lifecycles, and drive strategy based on user data analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Help multiple global teams manage the end-to-end lifecycle(s) of complex products spanning multiple feature areas.
• Write and consult on specs, overcome design challenges, and promote interoperability and scale.
• Drive the overall research strategy, using core innovative game technology, and ensure product decisions are based on in-depth data analysis.
• Develop deep insights into customer needs and how the roadmap addresses those needs.
• Drive strategy for the team in collaboration with leadership, manage CPM team members, and mentor PMs throughout the company.
• Provide oversight and guidance for more junior PMs on their projects and be a key stakeholder or owner for initiatives with other teams.
• Coordinate Product Managers across multiple products, set clear/measurable objectives, and ensure effective project planning based on priorities.
• Deliver vision & strategy, monitor product progression, and partner with central publishing teams and/or game teams for delivering initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years experience in product management in consumer products
• Ability to build wire-frames, product specifications and white papers
• Experience with managing dynamic applications and multivariate testing
• Able to lead, motivate, and develop a team, including those who do not directly report to you
• Exceptional data analysis and problem solving skills. SQL querying abilities is a strong plus
• Strong project management skills and the ability to present work to the executive team
• A passion for games, creating fun and compelling user experiences
• Outstanding written/oral, organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals, and give insight on industry and competitor trends
• Experience in working with and coordinating large-scale projects with central teams
