Position Summary
The Bilingual Human Resources Manager leads all human resources functions while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. The position oversees employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits and investigations, training, compliance, policy administration, and organizational development. will be critical to setting the foundation processes for the company. The HR Manager serves as a trusted advisor and must be fluent in English and Spanish.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of compliant HR processes and systems
  • Lead employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and staffing.
  • Administer performance management and employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, OSHA, EEOC, FMLA, ADA, and wage/hour requirements.
  • Administer employee benefits and leave programs.
  • Develop and deliver HR training in English and Spanish.
  • Maintain HRIS, personnel files, reports, and HR metrics.
  • Visit company locations to meet with staff and assure HR compliance.
Bilingual Responsibilities
  • Communicate fluently in English and Spanish.
  • Translate HR policies, forms, and employee communications.
  • Conduct investigations and interviews in Spanish when needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • May supervise HR Generalists, HR Coordinators, Recruiters, Administrative Staff, and Interns.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of HR leadership experience.
  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and workplace investigations.
  • Experience with benefits administration, employee relations, and HRIS.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Experience in nonprofit, for-profit, healthcare, government, or multi-site environments.
  • Payroll systems experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, investigative, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, use standard office equipment, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and travel locally as needed.
