Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Premier Sports Fitness & Physiotherapy Services in Leesburg, Virginia. This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide high-quality therapeutic services aimed at improving the physical health and overall well-being of our patients. You will be instrumental in developing personalized treatment plans and will contribute to enhancing patient outcomes while operating in a collaborative, onsite outpatient office setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive evaluation services to patients, including thorough review of medical histories, conducting detailed assessments, and developing personalization treatment plans.
  • Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, incorporating their feedback and goals into the rehabilitation process.
  • Implement individualized treatment protocols that are informed by patient assessments, clinical observations, and evolving best practices in healthcare.
  • Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to optimize the treatment plans and adapt to any changes in patient conditions as necessary.
  • Accurately document all patient interactions and treatment activities, ensuring timely and thorough entries that detail the patient's journey and progress.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills by meeting established productivity goals while maintaining an organized daily schedule.
  • Engage actively in community outreach and marketing efforts to promote the services of the clinic and educate the public.
  • Participate in departmental initiatives aimed at improving patient access and quality of care, including analyzing patient satisfaction data.
  • Pursue professional development through continuing education opportunities and serve as a mentor or clinical instructor when applicable.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population including athletes recovering from injuries, post-operative patients, and individuals seeking restoration of mobility and function. Your role will involve developing and implementing rehabilitation strategies that are tailored to the specific orthopedic conditions and needs of each patient, fostering an environment where they feel heard and empowered in their recovery process.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
  • Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
  • Current American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Preferred Experience

While prior work experience is not mandatory, candidates with internships or practical experiences in outpatient orthopedic settings will be highly regarded. Familiarity with evidence-based practice and patient-centered care is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
