Job Description
Position Summary
The Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment at LIU invites applications from self-directed, inspiring, and motivated individuals to join this historical partnership with LIU and Roc Nation as an adjunct professor. All courses are taught in person on LIU's Brooklyn campus. The School is seeking applications in the following disciplines: Vocal Performance.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance and/or Music Education with a concentration in Voice required; Master's degree in Vocal Performance, Vocal Pedagogy, or a closely related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated success of minimum two years of prior Higher Education experience required
  • Experience across genres (Musical theater, Jazz, R+B etc.) and pedagogical approaches
  • A proficient level of Keyboard skills preferred
