JOBย SUMMARY:ย 

The Family Resource Networking is seekingย a qualified Development/Fundraisingย Intern to join ourย Developmentย team.ย This position is a hands-on opportunity to gain real world non-profit experience while working closely with the Special Events Manager and other team members. This is a remote role with required in-office and community presence based on event calendar.ย 

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:ย 

  • Support planning and execution of 2026ย special eventsย (listed below)ย 

  • Help secure event sponsorships and donationsย 

  • Research potential sponsors andย assistย with grant applicationsย 

  • Draft donor acknowledgement and thank you lettersย 

  • Provide day-of-event support andย assistย with fundraising projectsย 

  • Assistย in managing theย back-endย ofย OneCauseย (ticketing, registration, andย reporting)ย 

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:ย 

We want bright, motivatedย Accounting or Finance Marketing orย Communicationsย majors who are eager to learn and ready to work hard. Solid analytical skills, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and creativity are essential to success. Microsoft Excel competence isย required.ย 

  • Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college or universityย 

  • Accounting or Finance majors preferredย Marketingย or Communications majors preferredย 

  • Strong research, communication, and organizational skillsย 

  • Detail-oriented, creative, and eager to learn.ย
