Role Description The Public Relations Event Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham, AL, responsible for planning and executing PR-focused events that align with client goals and brand narratives. Day-to-day activities include coordinating event logistics, managing timelines and budgets, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth execution. The specialist drafts press releases and event-related communication materials, supports media outreach, and maintains relationships with key stakeholders. This role also involves monitoring event outcomes, preparing post-event reports, and continuously improving strategies to enhance client visibility and engagement. The position requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple projects, respond quickly to changing needs, and represent BGrace Media LLC and its clients in a polished, professional manner.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Public Relations and Press Releases skills to craft clear messages, engage media, and support brand visibility.
  • Candidates should possess Event Planning skills to coordinate logistics, manage timelines and budgets, and deliver high-quality events.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including written and verbal, to collaborate with clients, media, and internal teams.
  • Candidates should possess Sales and relationship-building skills to support client acquisition, nurture partnerships, and promote event participation.
  • Relevant qualifications include experience in PR, events, marketing, or communications; familiarity with media relations tools; and strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, along with proficiency in standard office and collaboration software.
