Job description

Why this job:
Join the mission-driven Facilities Team at TEP Charter School and support essential behind-the-scenes work that helps our campuses run smoothly. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in school facilities management, project coordination, and team-based operations. Interns will rotate between all three of TEP's campuses and contribute meaningfully to preparing the buildings for the upcoming school year.

Position Overview:
Interns will work five days per week from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The internship runs for three weeks, with a mandatory orientation before the start date. The supervising team will inform interns of their assigned campus each day.

Responsibilities:

  • Audit and organize furniture and supplies across campuses

  • Support with labeling, signage, and campus safety checks

  • Participate in TEP's Recycle Project and sustainability efforts

  • Assist with preparing classrooms and common spaces

  • Manage walkie-talkie and communication device audits

  • Follow safety protocols and take direction from team leads

Qualifications:

  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual

  • Willing to learn and take feedback

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be active during entire shifts

  • Tech-savvy and detail-oriented

  • Respectful of tools, safety rules, and shared workspaces

Compensation:
$17.00/hour for 20 hours per week for three weeks
