Job Summary:
The Brixton Group is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on backend engineering, operational readiness, and managing open-source technologies, contributing to large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native services.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and operate backend services supporting distributed streaming workloads.
• Build operational readiness capabilities for streaming platforms, data services, and managed infrastructure.
• Develop scalable, fault-tolerant storage, indexing, and query solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to design and deliver cloud-native services.
• Implement monitoring, automation, and reliability improvements for production systems.
• Deliver high-quality software in an agile development environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
