Web Developer In2vate, the Tulsa, Oklahoma based leader in the risk management industry, provides online training and tools for managing workplace risk. The Web Developer will collaborate with the technology team in designing, developing and maintaining online training platforms and websites. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with an ability to handle multiple projects while keeping track of deadlines and documentation of work.

Responsibilities Develops, implements, and supports dynamic web and internal applications throughout the software development lifecycle. Monitors/reports on application performance. Performs application debugging and maintenance.

Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced team environment. Excellent interpersonal skills including strong verbal, listening, and written communication. Excellent attention to detail, flexible and adaptable to changes.

Ability to operate under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines. Essential Functions Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats with individuals and groups. Ability to handle and complete a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.

Ability to understand and communicate low level technical information. Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions. Ability to handle confidential material appropriately.

Ability to display a professional demeanor. Ability to be detail oriented. Ability to communicate and resolve problems on a timely basis.

Ability to acknowledge full ownership responsibility in accomplishing the business objectives. Ability to utilize personal computer, telephone, facsimile, copier, calculator, and other general office equipment. Desired Skills and Experience Proficient in PHP, WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL Server.

Ability to learn new languages and tools. Ability to be self-directed, able to focus on personal assignments while remaining part of a larger team with proven ability to multi-task. Comfortable with maintenance of existing code base as well as new development.

Proven experience using web development tools such as Eclipse/CF Builder. Demonstrated ability, working knowledge, and strong programming experience in ColdFusion (9), HTML, Ajax/JavaScript, including a proven development methodology. Experience in ColdFusion programming.

Experience with other scripting languages will be considered. Experience with Microsoft SQL server 2005-2008. Proficient with CSS and cross-browser compatibility testing.

Experience with Source Control (Subversion). Experience writing and consuming web services and third-party APIs. Experience with JQuery or similar JS library.

Experience in unit testing, functional testing and adherent to documentation standards desired. Knowledge of Responsive Design and developing mobile apps a plus. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) a plus.

Experience with FileMaker Pro databases a plus. Well organized with proven success in managing assignments (supporting end users) to timely completion. Excellent communication skills, both oral as well as written Bachelor's degree in a job-related degree program from an accredited college or university or experience in a similar position.
