Job Summary:
Lifted Logic is a full-service digital agency that blends innovative design, cutting-edge technology, and data-driven strategy to create unforgettable online experiences. The Technical Support Developer is pivotal in providing comprehensive technical support and being the primary point of contact for the support team, ensuring that developers can focus on their core tasks while conducting quality assurance testing and implementing fixes for identified issues.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for support-related tasks and questions, ensuring efficient resolution of issues
• Conduct quality assurance testing and undertake tasks required for website launches and pre-launch checks
• Investigate and complete bug fixes and support requests
• Complete ongoing client tasks
• WordPress plugin installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Database queries, browsing, and search/replace
• Code deployment to a variety of environments
• Provide basic web hosting server management and maintenance
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Ability to jump into a codebase for debugging purposes
• Intermediate knowledge of frontend languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Intermediate knowledge of backend languages such as PHP
• Intermediate knowledge of WordPress CMS
• Intermediate knowledge of WordPress Theme Development
• Knowledge of version control (Git)
• Knowledge of website hosting and setup
• Knowledge of working with databases (MySQL)
• Knowledge of FTP/SFTP applications
• Intermediate knowledge of Web Hosting & Server Management
• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years web development experience
• Either: Proven self-taught web development experience OR coding bootcamp
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Good communication skills
Preferred:
• Knowledge of frontend JavaScript libraries a plus (Vue, jQuery)
• Knowledge of backend PHP frameworks a plus (Laravel)
• Knowledge of building custom WordPress plugins
• Knowledge of working with APIs
