Job description


Sorting Robotics Inc. is excited to offer a Robotics Engineering Internship for enthusiastic individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving field of robotics, specifically within the cannabis industry. This job is for a part time or full time Co-Op Role that will last 6 months.
Preferred: Must be comfortable with cannabis (preferred you enjoy it and have experienced it) as we manufacture robotic innovations for the legal cannabis market in the US and Canada.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assisting in the design, testing, and development of robotic systems.
  • Working closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and improve existing robotic technologies.
  • Participating in prototype assembly and integration.
  • Supporting data collection and analysis to refine robotic performance.
  • Documenting experiments, processes, and results to contribute to project reports.
  • Engaging in team meetings to discuss project updates and share insights.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Pursuing a degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of robotic systems and programming languages (Python, C++, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination

Work Location: On-site
Work Hours: Flexible, part-time hours available
Applicants for this internship must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have proof of COVID-19 vaccination records.
Benefits
