Job description

**About the Role**Uber Eats food delivery is one of the most used consumer applications globally, used by hundreds of millions of users every year and supporting over $75B in customer transacted funds. We're looking for an experienced PM to own the entire shopping experience for this product end-to-end, from users landing on the storefront to checking out.This person will need to develop and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for key components of the Uber Eats app. These include:- Improve the user experience for users and thus improving revenue- Set the ranking and personalization vision and requirements and work closely with Machine Learning Engineers and ranking teams- Ensure that the key platform surfaces across the journey supports the needs of other Uber Eats teams such as membership, payments, etc.**What the Candidate Will Do**- Product Vision & Strategy: Develop the roadmap for key, high-visibility consumer surfaces within the Uber Eats app.- End-to-End Experience: Optimize the entire user journey, from discovery and browsing to ordering and checkout, specifically reducing friction to drive growth and retention- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, data science, design, and marketing teams to define and launch features.**Basic Qualifications**- 5+ years of product management experience with a track record of building and launching impactful consumer-facing products at scale.- Proven ability to leverage data and analytics to uncover user insights, diagnose funnel friction, and inform prioritization and product strategy.- Strong consumer intuition and empathy - you deeply understand how users make trade-offs around price, value, and choice, and can translate those insights into product investment recommendations- Demonstrated success working in cross-functional environments, partnering closely with design, data science, engineering, and marketing to deliver measurable outcomes.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting narratives that influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment.**Preferred Qualifications**- **Marketplace expertise:** Experience in product management at scaled two-sided eCommerce marketplaces- **Customer Obsession:** A track record of distilling complex operational constraints into elegant, frictionless, and intuitive user interfaces- **Strategic Vision:** Ability to craft a compelling product narrative and effectively communicate trade-offs to senior leadership and stakeholders.For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp
