As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans that align with client's needs and goals.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques while employing screening tools as directed by clinical standards.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to design and uphold positive behavior support plans tailored to each client.
• Actively participating in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain high-quality care standards.
• Documenting all clinical interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Serving as a key liaison between clients, local, state, and federal agencies to ensure continuity of care and community integration.
• Engaging in professional development opportunities by attending conferences and representing the agency at statewide meetings.
• Promoting the mission and values of Pathfinder Counseling Services within the community and among stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• A current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license issued by the state board.
• Proficiency in maintaining clinical records and preparing detailed reports in accordance with agency protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to articulate ideas effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, contributing positively to team dynamics.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences are highly preferred:

• Experience working in telehealth or remote counseling settings.
• Previous involvement in community outreach programs or partnerships with local resources.
• Familiarity with the latest evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
