1 in 25 adolescents and young adults will be diagnosed with serious mental illness. The majority of these families struggle to get care. Flourish (https://flourish.health/) is here to ensure that everybody gets the same access and quality care.
About the Role
This role is for an independently licensed mental health professional. The right person is eager to work with under-served populations that do not traditionally have access to world-class care.
The Right Person
The right person (you!) has experience working with adolescents, young adults, and families in different stages of clinical care for significant mental health concerns. You get excited to work as part of a team. You're comfortable providing quality care in a remote setting. Above all else, you are motivated by the ultimate goal of providing the highest quality care so that everyone can achieve lasting recovery.
Requirements for the role
  • Therapy License allowing you to provide independent care
  • Must be willing to get licensed in 5-12 states (cost covered by Flourish)
  • Experience working in under-served communities with complex family situations
  • Experience providing clinical care in a remote setting
  • Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate with integrated care team
  • An ability to think and act independently while being part of a bigger team
  • Maintain a caseload of 20-32 patients
  • A desire to build an entirely new way to deliver care!
  • Ability to work 2+ evenings per week (the day would start later)
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities of the role
  • Coordinate with and participate in multidisciplinary care teams consisting of clinicians, psychiatrists, care advocates, and coaches
  • Provide individual and group based care to adolescents and families
  • Ensure compliance to all regulations on a state by state basis and perform ongoing quality assurance
  • Help with basic operations that come with being part of a fast-moving company
  • Work with an incredibly talented, quirky, passionate group of people that are setting out to reduce human suffering on a massive scale

Job Type: Remote, full-time position, Monday through Friday. Standard hours are 8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-5:30pm in your local time zone. One day per week follows a later schedule (10:30am-7:00pm). Afternoon hours are required to ensure we are available during the times that best support the adolescents we serve. Additional late days can be added for extra compensation
Salary: $80,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year
