Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' mental health and substance use needs, using standardized evaluation tools and interviews.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client, ensuring evidence-based methodologies are employed.
  • Provide therapeutic services through individual sessions, group therapy, and family counseling, utilizing a range of approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within our EHR system, adhering to HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
  • Actively collaborate with colleagues in the treatment team, participating in case reviews and treatment planning meetings to enhance the care provided to clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention as necessary, employing de-escalation techniques and necessary referrals for higher levels of care when needed.
  • Stay abreast of current research, trends, and best practices in mental health and substance abuse treatment to continuously improve service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals facing various mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use challenges. Qualifications
  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in providing mental health and substance use treatment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a Social Work-related field.

Compensation and Benefits
