Position Overview

Embrace Life Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote outpatient clinic team in Gilbert, Arizona. Work Environment

As a licensed professional counselor at Embrace Life, you will work remotely, allowing for a flexible work-life balance. While you will conduct sessions online or occasionally in our outpatient office, our technological infrastructure simplifies client communication, scheduling, and documentation. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, couples, and family counseling sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's unique situation.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive care that may include referrals to psychiatrists, psychologists, or social workers for medication management or additional support.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and best practices, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments and trends in mental health care through ongoing professional education and training sessions provided by the clinic.
  • Participate actively in clinic staff meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of service offerings and clinical protocols.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves a diverse range of patients struggling with conditions such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma-related disorders, and other mental health concerns. You will be instrumental in helping clients develop coping strategies, achieve their personal goals, and foster resilience in their lives.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Current and valid licensing as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in providing outpatient counseling services in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a trusting and therapeutic environment for clients.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, ensuring holistic care for clients.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, staying current with the latest evidence-based practices in mental health counseling.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient client management and documentation.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Psychodynamic Therapy is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 80,000 and 90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Key benefits include:
