Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and mental health status.

  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to the needs of each client.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the treatment team to coordinate care and enhance treatment efficacy.

  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients who are dealing with substance use disorders alongside potential mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. Your skills and expertise will directly contribute to improving treatment outcomes, helping clients achieve lasting change and empowering them to reclaim their lives.

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
  • Specialized training or current experience in addiction counseling is required.
  • An understanding of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders is crucial.
  • Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills with a proven ability to motivate and encourage clients towards their goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with clients and team members alike.
Preferred Experience

Previous experience in a substance abuse treatment setting is highly preferred, along with familiarity with current methodologies and treatment resources specific to addiction recovery. Training in trauma-informed care or familiarity with Motivational Interviewing techniques will also be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary, ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and professional credentials.
