Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules, ensuring alignment with client requirements, platform best practices, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into robust, scalable configurations and customizations, including scripting, integrations, UI policies, business rules, and workflow automation.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to refine requirements, estimate development effort, and define technical approaches for new features and enhancements.
  • Manage and maintain the development backlog, ensuring stories are technically sound, properly scoped, and sequenced for efficient sprint execution.
  • Lead development activities by building new features, reviewing peer code, troubleshooting defects, and ensuring highquality deliverables throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client environments and proactively recommend platform improvements, automation opportunities, and optimization strategies.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements, constraints, and solution design decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of handson ServiceNow development experience (certification strongly preferred).
  • Proven experience designing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow applications, including scripting (JavaScript), integrations, workflows, and data models.
  • 3-5 years of clientfacing experience in a consulting or professional services environment, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • 3+ years working within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe, including participation in sprint planning, refinement, and reviews.
  • Strong background in ITSM/ITIL processes and demonstrated experience implementing or supporting enterprise ITIL/ITSM workflows on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business problems, design technical solutions, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, technical design documentation, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM principles and how they translate into ServiceNow architecture and configuration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Developer or Implementation Specialist certifications.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Familiarity with project management and systems engineering methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of complementary frameworks such as LeanIT, COBIT, DevOps, and Cloud Computing.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, MID Server configurations, and platform performance optimization.

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $86,500 - $138,500

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
