Department Overview

Information Systems Technology Services is a unified organization comprised of various departments which collaborate effectively in order to deliver high quality technology solutions.

Position Summary

Functions as a liaison between IT and the line of businesses, collaborating with end users and process owners in system requirements, process design and support. Documents business requirements, process flows, provide user support, coordinates user acceptance testing of new tools and gathers user feedback.

Additionally, this role administers and supports business process documentation, governance, mining and optimization efforts using tools such as SAP Signavio and Microsoft Visio, helping ensure processes are clearly designed and communicated across teams.

This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with senior leadership, translating business needs into system requirements and communicating updates clearly.

This is an hourly position. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $32.69 to $49.04. 

Job Responsibilities

Participate in teams that develop business processes and requirements for business needs.

Administrator business process design tools such as SAP Signavio; manage licenses, provide tool access, integrate with SAP ERP data, process governance, process mining to derive operational insights.

Analyze and document low complexity business processes and information needs, including creating process maps and workflows using Signavio and/or Visio.

Support business process documentation and ensure alignment and approval across stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Provide routine user support, answering and addressing most of the straightforward user questions independently.

Provide timely and professional responses to IT or user inquiries. Escalate as appropriate.

May perform various additional activities, such as supporting project team in scope presentations, user support, etc.

Participate in User Acceptance Tests (UAT) perform quality reviews of test results.

Qualifications

Minimum:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline such as business administration.

Internship experience in Information Technology departments during or after college.

Desired:

Job-related experience, 1 year

Experience in project participation, medium complexity.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior leaders and stakeholders.

Exposure to business process analysis, design and documentation.

Experience with process mapping tools such as SAP Signavio or Microsoft Visio.
