Livestock Nutrition Center specializes in blending customized rations, supplements and premixes to meet the specific nutritional needs of Livestock Producer's operations. We understand that management, performance objectives and feeding practices can be vastly different between operations, and that these differences dictate specific nutritional or formulation requirements. Our experienced sales staff and nutritionist will work with the Producer to design a feeding program that is specific to their operation.

Our focus is to provide customized feeding programs, nutritional products, and expert service to livestock producers that promote their long-term success and profitability.
Position Summary
Livestock Nutrition Center, a leading regional feed manufacturing company, is looking for a skilled and adaptable IT Field Support Technician based to provide exceptional technical support to our staff. This role involves not only resolving technical issues remotely but also traveling to our various locations to deliver hands-on assistance or implementation support when necessary. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a passion for technology.
Responsibilities & Duties
  • Provide remote technical assistance and support for requests and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware (including IoT and OT equipment).
  • Travel to locations to resolve complex issues or implement new technology as needed.
  • Document, route, track, escalate and update staff, as well as management, on status of issues as required.
  • Build rapport and research problem details from technical and non-technical staff.
  • Analyze, document, and map business processes and data to identify areas of improvement.
  • Contribute to the body of knowledge by creating and maintaining knowledge base articles and other technical documents.
  • Research and stay abreast of new hardware or software that might be used in current or future locations.
  • Perform other support and operational tasks as required.

Qualifications & Skills
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.
  • Priority consideration for experience in the agricultural or manufacturing industries or experience with Operational Technology implementation and/or installation.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network +) are an advantage.
  • 3+ years of experience working in working in IT operations/support/service or help desk areas.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
  • Highly proficient in support ticketing and Reporting Services.
  • An understanding of the role of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) within an IT environment.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently but with a team-focused approach within multi-disciplinary teams and quickly adapt to job requirements changing on an ad hoc basis.
  • Enthusiasm for product knowledge acquisition.
