Peak Performance Physical Therapy is actively seeking a full-time, experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Oakland, California. This role requires a dedicated professional ready to provide exceptional care in our outpatient office. Located in the vibrant city of Oakland, our outpatient office is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that provide a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for our patients. As a member of our onsite team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and rehabilitation specialists, to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s needs. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, but we offer flexibility to accommodate your personal and professional commitments.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities using standardized assessment tools and clinical judgment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, integrating hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Utilize patient education strategies to teach clients about proper body mechanics, posture, and methods for pain relief and injury prevention.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize outcomes and ensure continuous improvement in health status.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of each patient's treatment interventions and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and physicians to coordinate the best care and address any complex patient needs.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid, current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a relevant setting.
• Strong proficiency in contemporary therapeutic modalities and treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to enhance engagement with patients and foster collaborative treatment efforts.

While a minimum of one year of experience is required, candidates with extensive backgrounds in orthopedic rehabilitation or sports therapy will be particularly valued. Experience working in an outpatient setting, coupled with familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, is advantageous. Proficiency in conducting group therapy sessions or community outreach programs would further exemplify a candidate's suitability.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
