Internship pay refers to the compensation that interns receive for their work during an internship. Some internships are paid, offering either an hourly wage or a stipend, while others may be unpaid, especially if they are for school credit. Paid internships are more common in certain fields such as engineering, finance, and technology, whereas unpaid internships are more frequently found in non-profits, media, and arts sectors. It's important to research and understand the compensation details before accepting an internship offer.

Internship pay can vary widely depending on the industry, company size, and location. While some internships are unpaid, many organizations, especially in fields like technology, finance, and engineering, offer competitive hourly wages or stipends. It's important for applicants to clarify pay and any additional perks during the interview process and to consider how the compensation aligns with their career goals and financial needs.
