Description
  • Conducting comprehensive analyses of operational processes and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements
  • Developing and applying robust mathematical and statistical models to simulate potential scenarios, assess risks, and optimize resource allocation
  • Preparing detailed analytical reports and presentations that communicate actionable insights and support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement process enhancements and operational solutions aligned with contract requirements
  • Monitoring key performance indicators to validate analytical models and ensure sustained operational effectiveness

Requirements
  • 10 or more years of experience in an operations research analyst role
  • One or more years of experience must be with communication systems, networks, or technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering discipline, computer science or IT discipline, or technical discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement mathematical models and statistical analyses to support operational decision-making and resource optimization
  • Proficient in applying quantitative methods, such as simulation, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessment, to evaluate operational performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Skilled in the use of operations research tools and software (e.g., Excel, MATLAB, and optimization packages) to analyze complex data sets and drive strategic recommendations
  • Possess an Active DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Skills
  • Familiarity with advanced analytical tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) to automate data processing and enhance model precision
  • Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and effectively communicating technical findings to senior management
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, to streamline operations and boost efficiency
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proven track record in optimizing operational processes
