Occupational Therapist/Acute Setting

Burger Rehabilitation Systems, Inc. has provided therapy services since 1978. We currently seek an exceptional State Board Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Woodland Hospital, Woodland, CA.

The current need is for a California licensed Acute Occupational Therapist interested in a part-time position. This position is great for a new graduate as the strong and solid team are able to train!

Focus on early mobilization, safe discharge, and preventing further functional decline in hospitalized patients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions
  • Aid and direct patients in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, activities of daily living, prosthetic training, gait and functional training
  • Educate patient and family on proper care plans
  • Communicate with team members to ensure quality care is being provided
