Job description

DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY

Daytona International Speedway is a state-of-the-art motorsports facility and was awarded the SportsBusiness Journal's prestigious Sports Business Award for Sports Facility of the Year in 2016. Daytona International Speedway is the home of "The Great American Race" - the DAYTONA 500. Though the prestigious season-opening NASCAR Cup Series event garners most of the attention - as well as the largest audience in motorsports - the approximately 500-acre motorsports complex boasts the most diverse schedule of racing on the globe, thus earning it the title of "World Center of Racing." Among the nine major weekends of racing activity are the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA, the DAYTONA Supercross, the DAYTONA 200 motorcycle classic and the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Rarely a week goes by that the Speedway grounds are not used for events that include track tours, concerts, civic and social gatherings, car shows, photo shoots, production vehicle testing and police motorcycle training.

The Manager, Partnership Services is responsible for a variety of functions in support of the Partnership Services and Sales teams within NASCAR. The core duties of this role will support the Florida Division with events at Daytona International Speedway (DIS) and Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS). This person must be detailed oriented with a strong willingness to learn, and a desire to work in a fast-paced team environment. The ideal candidate for this role must be able to think strategically and creatively, balance multiple responsibilities and easily collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. This position is based in Daytona Beach, Florida.

RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Manage a book of business of partners pre, during and post events across all DIS and HMS track events(NASCAR + other sanctioned events as needed)
  • Oversee fulfillment process of partnership assets for designated book of business and major events which includes but not limited to signage, activation, tickets, parking passes, credentials, social, web/digital, etc.
  • Administer Event Business Management Software (EBMS) for the Partnership Sales & Services Teams - load contract orders, generate accounting reports, process fulfillment reports, etc.
  • Assist with contract creation for new business and lead renewal conversations with support from Regional Sales and Legal Teams
  • Liaison to Accounting/Finance department for trades, trade valuations, past-due reports, payments, and invoice coding
  • Assist with management, record keeping, and inventory of signage and hospitality for assigned track properties
  • Point of contact to Ticket & Premium Sales Team for Loge Box contracts (DIS) and Suite contracts for major events across the region
  • Oversee parking pass fulfillment for various Daytona International Speedway major events (i.e. Rolex 24, Speedweeks, Bike Week, Coke Zero Sugar 400)
  • Assist with creation and edits on Hospitality Resource Guides, Hospitality Letters, and collateral for FL Division track properties, utilizing Adobe Creative Suite
  • Support Sales and Service teams with creating decks for partners, including new business, renewals, and recaps
  • Work closely with other departments at DIS/HMS and NASCAR including but not limited to National/Regional Sales, Marketing, Ticketing, Operations, Legal, National Partnership Marketing, Accounting, Event Experience, Special Events, and Group Sales
  • Lead Partnership Services Associate/Internship program - responsible for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and managing personnel

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in related business field, i.e., Sports Management, Business, or Sports Marketing
  • Minimum 2-4 years related experience preferred; account management, client service, agency, or sports marketing experience is a significant plus
  • Ability to work through problem solving and think strategically is a must
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and can take a project from conception to completion
  • Strong ability to think creatively and develop new processes/ideas to be efficient
  • Detail-oriented and organized with outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task; you will be working across a number of activities with deadlines
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends, asrequired
  • Strong computer skills in all aspects of Microsoft Office and Database Management
  • Travel: 15% including some weekends.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

COMPUTER SKILLS

Proficient with Companyprovidedhardware and software.Strong computer skills in all aspects of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Database Management

OTHER SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

Strong organizational, administrative, communications (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
