Job description

Ares Enterprise is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Power Apps Developer to support digital transformation, application modernization, workflow automation, and data analytics initiatives for federal government clients. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing scalable Microsoft Power Platform solutions that enhance business operations, streamline processes, and deliver actionable insights to support mission objectives. The Power Apps Developer will collaborate with government stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and develop secure, user-centric applications leveraging Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI. The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to translate business needs into innovative technical solutions within a dynamic federal consulting environment. Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain enterprise applications, automate business processes, integrate data across multiple platforms, and develop dashboards and reports that improve operational efficiency, transparency, and decision-making.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Microsoft Power Apps solutions, including Canvas and Model-Driven applications, to support business process automation and mission-critical operations.
Create, optimize, and manage Dataverse data models to support enterprise applications, business processes, and system integrations.
Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide meaningful insights to government stakeholders and program leadership.
Develop advanced analytics solutions using DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and optimized data models to support reporting and decision-making requirements.
Implement and maintain data governance, security controls, and Row-Level Security (RLS) within Power BI environments to ensure compliance.
Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, SQL Server, Dataverse, and external enterprise systems using APIs, custom connectors, and integration services.
Connect, transform, and manage data from multiple sources to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and operational applications.
Collaborate with government clients, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and develop scalable technology solutions.
Participate in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, solution design, testing, deployment, and continuous process improvement.
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, system maintenance, and performance optimization for Power Platform applications, workflows, and reporting solutions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, process workflows, user guides, and deployment procedures in accordance with organizational standards and best practices.
Ensure all solutions adhere to security, accessibility, governance, and compliance requirements while aligning with client objectives and industry best practices. Requirements:
Masterโ€™s level degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science
3 years of professional experience in computer design, software development or computer networks.
Active Secret Security Clearance
Ability to work onsite in San Diego, CA Technical Qualifications:

Experience with applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting
