D365/Power Platform Developer

State agency seeking experienced developer to use the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement to build enterprise applications for internal case management and customer service portals. IDEM is using the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement to build enterprise applications for internal case management and customer service portals. We are looking to build an internal development team capable of delivering high business value at a sustainable velocity.

The right candidate is excited about the capabilities of the Power Platform and how to use it to solve business problems. They are a lifelong learner who is interested in learning new ways of doing things. They stay current with Power Platform release plans and compose solutions rather than building everything from scratch. The candidate will work with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Apps (Power App Portals/Power Pages, Canvas Apps, Power Bi), Microsoft Power Automate AND Logic Apps, JavaScript and HTML to develop and deliver enterprise business solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Configures Dataverse and Dynamics 365 to meet technical design requirements
  • Implements business logic using the right mix of native Dataverse/Dynamics 365 apps capabilities, Power Automate, plug-ins, and Azure Functions
  • Builds reusable components using Power Apps Component Framework, Azure Functions, custom connectors, etc.
  • Tests solutions to demonstrate and verify quality requirements
  • Tracks work item details so that all work is documented and deployable

Technical Requirements

  • Expert knowledge in Dataverse and Dynamics 365 Case Management and Power Apps Portals
  • Proficient in Azure DevOps Boards, Repos, and CI/CD pipelines with Dynamics 365
  • Builds and troubleshoot custom code including plug-ins.
  • Experience with the D365 CDS PowerApps model, automating business processes with Microsoft Flow
  • Experience in requirements gathering, Analysis, designing and development using JavaScript, CSS and HTML solutions as well as utilizing development tools provided within Dynamics 365 customization environment.
  • Thorough understanding of MS Dynamics CRM Architecture and experience in xRM applications by using custom code
  • Experience in developing Dynamics CRM custom workflows, plug-in creation, and creation of custom integration solutions with third-party vendors.
  • Hands-on experience is desirable on configuring and customizing Share Point workflows, Custom Web Part design and development.
  • Experience and working knowledge of web development using HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Proficient in using Azure PaaS services such as Logic Apps, Functions, and Data Factory
  • Experience integrating third-party solutions such as DocuSign and ArcGIS
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and best practices in order to engage with team, leadership and government clientele on project development.

Education, Credentials, and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience with developing and configuring Dynamics 365 online, Power Platform, and Power Apps Portal
  • 2+ years of experience with related cloud technologies such as Power BI, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps
  • PL-400 certification a plus, but not required
  • Experience with Government Community Cloud (GCC) helpful, but not required
