We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in water infrastructure construction or very related heavy/industrial construction to add to our growing team in the Northern Virginia region.


Qualifications

  • BS in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Water Infrastructure Construction or very related heavy/industrial construction.
  • Experience successfully leading teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Project Manager Daily Life

  • Project Leadership & Communication Lead and facilitate project meetings, providing regular updates and reporting to key stakeholders while maintaining strong relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Safety Management Champion and actively drive the company's Zero Injury Safety Program, fostering a culture of safety accountability across all project teams and job sites.
  • Schedule, Budget & Cost Control Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, establish budgets, and implement proactive cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered on time and within financial targets.
  • Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination Build and maintain productive working relationships with subcontractors and vendors, overseeing the contract awarding process to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Train & Develop assigned staff including project Engineers, Co-op/Interns.


Project Manager Nice to Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License
  • Extensive experience with water infrastructure related construction
