Job description

Title: Medical Device Sales - Surgical Pain Management

Territory:ย Southern California: San Diego, Inland Empire, Orange County - about 25% travel expectations.ย 

Company: Global industry leader and manufacturer of medical devices used in the OR and multiple departments throughout the hospital.

Description:

  • Own a portfolio of anesthesia and regional pain management products in hospital operating rooms. (no offsite call points).
  • Plan and manage your own schedule to prospect new customers, negotiate contracts, cover cases, and educate end users.
  • Supporting cases to drive utilization and education staff. No requirements to be on-call or to be in every case your products are being used in.
  • Promote sales of assigned products through territory, deepening relationships with existing accounts and new account acquisitions.
  • Prepare and deliver financial analysis to decision makers across hospital administration, nurse managers, OR operations and surgeons.
  • Develops & maintains a pipeline of new sales opportunities to achieve sales targets.
  • Work with internal counterparts to support the full scope of needs within assigned territory.
  • Territory is healthy with lots of existing business.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years Medical Device sales experience in Hospital/OR call points.
  • Documented sales accomplishments.
  • Completed 4 year college degree.
  • Ability to travel within territory, a few overnights a month.
  • Clean driving record.

Compensation:

Base salary depending on experience $85-95k, plus $10k commission guarantee for each of the first 2 quarters, uncapped commissions and OTE $150k+ 1st year: health/dental + Company Car + Expenses + Communications Package.
