St. Ann's Community is currently looking for a Full and Part Time Dietitian for the St. Ann's Home located on the Portland Campus. The primary purpose of this position is to proactively facilitate each household's effort to promote the nutritional well-being of all residents and guides households as needed in providing person centered dining and nutrition services.

Job Description:
  • Provide medical nutrition therapy for the elders including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention
  • Complete Minimum Data Set (MDS) in a timely manner to ensure compliance with federal regulations
  • Develop comprehensive care plans to ensure the elders' dietary needs are being met
  • Participate in weekly interdisciplinary care plan meetings
  • Interact with family members of elders when necessary to implement appropriate care plans
  • Conduct audits and participate in elder satisfaction programs
  • Mentors elder services staff and student interns as applicable

Candidate Requirements:
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Registered Dietitian Eligible
  • Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical record, and foodservice management software program
