Job description

Position:

  • Supervisor of Curriculum & Instruction - Workforce Development & Career Pathways (6-12 grades)
  • Begins 2026 -2027 School Year

Qualifications Required:

  • Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution in Education, Career and Technical Education, School Counseling, Career Development, Workforce Education, or related field.
  • Valid State of Ohio Administrative License (Supervisor, Administrative Specialist, Principal, or Superintendent) or eligibility for licensure.
  • Minimum of 3 5 years of successful experience in K12 education, career advising, school counseling, or Career-Technical Education (CTE).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in career pathway development, workforce education, career advising, or CTE programming.
  • Knowledge of OhioMeansJobs K-12, Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), graduation pathways, and Ohio Career Advising policies.
  • Knowledge of Ohio Career Technical Education programs, work-based learning, and industry-recognized credentials.
  • Knowledge of state CTE funding, and grant compliance procedures.
  • Understanding of EMIS reporting requirements related to pathway enrollment, CTE participation, industry credentials, and work-based learning data.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret student and program data related to career pathways, credential attainment, postsecondary readiness, and workforce outcomes.
  • Ability to supervise and support career coaches, counselors, pathway advisors, and CTE staff.
  • Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, and partnership-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with school districts, business and industry partners, higher education institutions, and community agencies.
  • Experience with Business Advisory Councils and collaborations with businesses to create connection opportunities between education and industry.
  • Successful BCII & FBI background checks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid State of Ohio teaching license, School Counselor license, or Career-Technical Workforce Development (CTWD) license.
  • Experience coordinating internships, job shadows, pre-apprenticeships, and other work-based learning opportunities.
  • Experience with OhioMeansJobs K-12 implementation and career exploration programming in middle and high school settings.
  • Experience developing or managing grants, or career-tech compliance processes.
  • Knowledge of Ohio's 16 Career Fields and career pathway alignment.
  • Experience presenting program updates and data to boards of education, administrators, and community stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with EMIS coordinators and monitoring CTE/pathway reporting accuracy.
  • Demonstrated use of instructional technology, career readiness platforms, and student data systems.
