SoundCloud is looking for an Associate Sales Strategist focused on learning and executing the fundamentals of media strategy. You will support the Sales Strategy pod by handling high-volume, standard RFP requests and maintaining the team's operational tools. This role is for a proactive learner passionate about music and culture, ready to work at a high tempo to support the broader team's goals.
The Revenue Operations team's mission is to drive revenue and build long-term client relationships through a demonstrated understanding of brand partnerships, sales strategy, key industry advertising verticals, advertiser client business goals and challenges, strategic partnership recommendations, mutually beneficial and unique creative ideas, and measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute high-volume, "Level 1" RFP responses, using standardized templates and strategic modules to ensure rapid turnaround
  • Work with Audience Insights Team to request 1P and 3P audience data (Luminate, Midia) to support pitch narratives
  • Maintain and refresh the library of sales materials, artist case studies, and audience insights
  • Own the project tracker (Asana) for the pod, ensuring all status updates are current and deadlines are visible
  • Use AI tools to assist in drafting initial proposal copy and organizing research notes under the guidance of the Sales Strategist
  • Support the creation of pitch decks by creating audience insights slides, building simple mock ups, and sourcing imagery
  • Help coordinate the flow of information between Sales, Marketing, and Account Management teams

Experience and Background:
  • 0-2+ years in media, marketing, or a related field, including internships
  • Genuine passion for music and a desire to understand the SoundCloud community
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Positive attitude in a fast-moving, changing environment

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $75,000 annually. The final salary offered will be determined based on relative experience, skills, internal equity, and location. We also offer a generous total rewards program - read more about additional benefits and perks below!
