Job Description

The Tax Analyst is an entry-level Tax professional who reports to the Tax Manager and is primarily responsible for supporting the Company's federal, state, and local tax compliance activities. Key responsibilities include preparing tax returns, coordinating tax payments and estimated tax filings, maintaining compliance reporting, and ensuring timely fulfillment of tax obligations. The Tax Analyst will also support income tax provision calculations, tax account reconciliations, and tax research while collaborating with Corporate Finance, Division Finance Teams, and external advisors.

What you will do...

  • Prepare and file various state sales and use tax returns, state income tax returns, and related tax payments on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Preparation of separate company proforma federal tax returns and supporting schedules
  • Responsible for ensuring all tax return workpapers are prepared to support income tax audits.
  • Reconciliation of various tax balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with tax notices, audits, and other tax compliance-related inquiries.
  • undefined Support special projects, process improvements, and other tax department initiatives as assigned.

What you will bring to the table... (Must Have)

  • A bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting or finance
  • 0-3 years of relevant tax experience or equivalent experience in business or industry Basic understanding of federal and state taxation concepts through education, internship, or work experience. Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills Desire to learn and develop, act proactively, and respond with a sense of urgency Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$69,000-$94,800

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
