As a Data Developer I at Spectrum, you will play a crucial role in assisting with data architecture and automation, helping to streamline processes and enhance data planning strategies. Your contributions will be key in advancing our data initiatives, ensuring efficient and effective data solutions that support the organization’s growth and success. 


How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Perform basic research and analysis as directed by your manager  
  • Assist in implementing data services, data structures/models and data movement infrastructures 
  • Assist in troubleshooting data job failures, including but not limited to error handling, data manipulation and I/O processing 
  • Provide preventative solutions under manager supervision  
  • Assist in implementing database concepts and practices, including definition and query language under supervision  
  • Assist in modification, enhancement, and implementation of requirements and architecture specifications of data warehousing systems and/or processing infrastructure  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design, implement, and support end-to-end data solutions across multiple platforms, environments, domains, and locations  
  • Begin to work closely with staff, vendors, consultants, and external partners to quickly identify and resolve data integration issues 
  • Create monitors and alerts to track data quality  
  • Begin developing reporting processes, programs and solutions following established standard

Education 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, operations research and/or equivalent combination of education and experience  
  • Prior Internship, related course work, or certification  

Experience 

  • 1+ year of ETL experience 
  • 1+ year of data visualization experience (Tableau, Alterx, Microstrategy)  
  • 1+ year of software engineering experience 

Skills 

  • Basic knowledge of SQL and Python (YAML – if applicable)  
  • Basic knowledge of Data Tools including querying, scripting, analysis, ETL, and command line interfaces  
  • Basic knowledge of cloud-based infrastructures and services relevant to data processing, data automation and data platform/processing troubleshooting

The base pay for this position generally is between $67,100.00 and $107,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
