Internship Opportunity!
Position Summary
We're looking for a detail-oriented intern to help keep our internal systems organized and up to date. This role focuses on user account administration, file organization, and system cleanup across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other internal software platforms. This position works alongside our managed IT provider (MSP) and is not responsible for technical support or troubleshooting. The primary objective of this internship is to improve the accuracy, organization, and security of the company's digital systems by ensuring user accounts and company data are properly maintained.
Responsibilities
  • Clean up and deactivate legacy employee accounts in Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other internal software platforms
  • Ensure user accounts and permissions are accurate and up to date
  • Archive emails and files from former employees into designated folders
  • Organize and maintain Google Shared Drives and Microsoft SharePoint/OneDrive folders
  • Create and update distribution lists, shared mailboxes, and shared email groups
  • Assist with organizing company files and digital assets across multiple systems
  • Perform periodic audits to identify inactive user accounts, outdated information, and opportunities for cleanup
  • Track user accounts, cleanup projects, and system inventories using Microsoft Excel
  • Maintain organized spreadsheets to monitor progress, document completed work, and manage system records
  • Complete other administrative IT projects as assigned

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize data, manage lists, and track projects
  • Comfortable working with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based software
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn

Nice to Have
  • Experience with Google Workspace
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with SaaS applications
  • Experience organizing or maintaining digital files and records

Expected hours: Full-time - 40 hours per week
Salary: $20-25 per hour
