These internships focus on applying principles from psychology, engineering, and design to optimize the interaction between humans and complex systems, such as software, machinery, or work environments. Interns may assist with research, data analysis, usability testing, and the development of user-centered solutions. The goal is to improve system performance, safety, and user satisfaction by considering human capabilities and limitations throughout the design process.
